As you post, you will gain Experience. XP increases by 10 every post. When we reach a post with 50, 100, 150, 200, etc...experience, you can choose to:

1. Double your gains, and reset the experience gains.
2. Halve your gains, and double the experience gains.
3. Do nothing.

For instance, option #1:
Post 1: 10
Post 2: 20
Post 3: 30
Post 4: 40
Post 5: 50
Poster 5 chooses option #1 and gains 100 experience
Post 6: 10
Post 7: 20
And so on.

Option #2:
Post 4: 40
Post 5: 50
Poster 5 chooses option #2 and gains 25 experience
Post 6: 100
Post 7: 110
And so on.

When you choose option #1, you get an immediate gain...but if everyone chooses #1, no one gains much experience!

When you choose option #2, you lose your gain...but you can post again soon and get MORE experience!
